Hotels and meeting venues on Gotland
Gotland works year round, and the choice of accommodation sets the tone. Clarion Hotel Visby sits inside the city wall with meeting rooms and a pool. Best Western Strand is the affordable alternative a few blocks away, just as central but simpler. If you'd rather be out of town and closer to the landscape, Vidhave is a different proposition – somewhere the group stays together and the evenings happen on their own.
Activities and dinners on Gotland
Gotland gives you a programme without long transfers. Food walks through Visby take in producers and small kitchens and work well early, while the group is still finding its feet. Cycling suits the island: flat, short distances and coast most of the way. There's golf a short drive from town, and coastal walks along the cliffs for groups who'd rather move at their own pace. What does a conference on Gotland cost?

How do you get to Gotland?
The ferry from Nynäshamn or Oskarshamn takes about 3.5 hours and lets the group travel together, which is often half the point. Flying from Stockholm takes about 45 minutes.
How far is it to Visby?
The ferry terminal is a short walk from the city wall, and Visby airport is about 10 minutes by transfer. Once you're there, most of the programme is within walking distance.
When is the best time for a conference on Gotland?
May to September. Book early for July, when the island is busiest. May and September are quieter, cheaper and still work for everything outdoors.
