Why Riga works for conferences

Riga is the affordable capital few people account for. An hour from Stockholm, a UNESCO-listed old town and an Art Nouveau quarter among the finest in Europe. The price level means more for your money, in both hotels and programme, without feeling like a compromise. The city is the right size: everything is within walking distance and the group never loses each other. A good call when the budget is set but the ambition isn't.

Stay & venues

Hotels and meeting venues in Riga

Riga is affordable without feeling cheap. AC Hotel by Marriott sits centrally with meeting rooms in house and a standard that holds for a kickoff and a client meeting alike. Radisson Old Town is the option when you'd rather be closer to the old quarter with the conference side at the same address. From both, everything is a short walk, which makes the evenings easy to solve.

Activities

Activities and dinners in Riga

Riga is the right size for a group to actually see the city. A bike tour takes you from the Art Nouveau quarter out to Ķīpsala and back through the central market, giving context to a city most people know nothing about. For something competitive, there's a city rally in mini Fiats – teams, maps and missions across Riga, an activity that works however well the group already knows each other. Dinners we book in the old town, where distances are short and prices generous.
